Sökkull ehf. is a building company and importer of building material.  The company was founded in 1975 and has therefore over 30 years experience in its field.  The owners and founders of Sökkull are Mr. Gylfi Lárusson and Mr. Haraldur Lárusson.

Sökkull provides all general building services and also operates a very well equipped workshop and focuses on servicing companies and public institutions, but also serves individuals.  For the past 20 years the company has been specializing in indoor building work and import of building material for indoor use, such as walls, ceilings, doors, mobile walls and other various products that are not manufactured in Iceland.  Among those other various products are fire rated doors, smoke- and fire curtains, system- and glazed partitions and many more.  Sökkull has also specialized in custom making fixtures and furniture for shops, institutions and homes.

Sökkull´s project portfolio includes hundreds of projects from small projects for individuals to major projects for banks, schools, Icelandic international airport, shopping malls, private and governmental institutions

Sökkull´s offices, workshop and warehouse are located in Funahöfđi 9 in Reykjavik.  Sökkull has between 20 and 25 employees and have some of them been with the company from its foundation.  Operating managers of the company are Gylfi Lárusson and Haraldur Lárusson along with two project managers, Kristján Bjartmars workshop manager and Ómar Jónasson on-site project manager.
